“ I go to Unforked in Overland Park, very good place. Food very tasty, like in India, but very expensive, yes? One meal cost more than my rent back home! I feel like I am eating with rich movie star, not just normal food. I give four stars because food very good, but my wallet cry. If cheaper, like street food, five stars. But now, only four because price make me sad ”
“ Still good. This appeared to be a Covid casualty, but it's back! Unique menu that changes occasionally, fast casual format. Service and food are excellent. Highly recommended--glad we're back! ”
“ I went on a Monday at lunchtime. Crowded. Hopping. Line to order went quickly. Helpful staff at the order/checkout station. Food was excellent and quick. I had a smash burget that was on special that day. I also had the akauishi burger and some truffle fries. Both burgers were awesome. Crisp meat and tender but toasty bun. Cheesy. Freshest looking veg on the akauishi burger. Fries were good to me but not great. Rough cut but a little oily. I like crispy fries and these were not. Lots of interesting juice and tea soft drink choices and the regular fountain style sodas-drinks were self serve. Will definitely go back. Lots of other interesting menu items. ”
“ Food was good, their quesadilla had so much flavor! The truffle fries were fresh and tasted divine. Can't wait to go back to try different options! ”
“ I was excited to hear about the reopening of this Unforked location. They have a large selection on their menu from an array of burgers, tacos, salads, to custard. Upon entering, the ambiance was relaxed with lots of open seating. Outdoor seating is set up nicely as well. The cashier lady was also very friendly. My friends and I ordered The Barbie(taco), a chicken quesadilla, the Pure Burger dbl, 24-Hour Fries, and the Not So Sweet Potato Wedges. The Barbie was a solid choice. Initially seeing the price of $6.40 for one taco was alarming. However, the taco is pretty descent in size and is packed with ingredients. There is a layer of crispy melted cheese topped with carnitas, corn salad, and ranch sauce. It can run on the heavier side but the ingredients tasted fresh and enjoyed the combination of flavors. The 24-Hour Fries was a good option to have alongside the main meals. They are crispy and fresh. If you want more flavor in your fries however, I would try the truffle fries. The Not So Sweet Potato Wedges was pleasant. The texture was on the softer side and the combination of the sour cream sauce, cheese, and cilantro worked nicely. I will say the portion size was smaller than I expected. My friends got the burger and quesadilla. They enjoyed the flavors and found it filling. Overall, Unforked has a lot of options for a good meal. I would say it's a great spot for both quick lunches and laid-back dinners. Prices vary but can run on the higher end. ”
“ Small but great menu. I had the grain bowl and added chicken. The amount of chicken that was added was minuscule (maybe 2oz?) but it was appropriate for the cost. The bowl itself was delicious and I'd definitely order it again. Service was timely and the restaurant was clean and bright. ”
“ I have been here twice so far. The first time was around noon for lunch and the drive thru line was insane. I tried to eat inside at first, but there were no available parking spots. Just be warned, it is popular. By the time I made it through the drive thru, some outside tables opened up so I was able to eat there. The second time I came at about 11 and there was only one person in line ahead of me, and plenty of seating/parking. I ordered the ancient grain bowl both times and I love it! The first time I ordered it with Chicken, the second with Shrimp. I preferred the chicken. It's a fast casual restaurant where you order at the counter and then take one of those buzzing things to your table. When it goes off you pick up your food at a different counter. I didn't have much interaction with staff because of this, but they were quick and efficient. ”
